At Hello Mia, we want you to love every item you receive. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. We offer a 30-day return policy, giving you 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return.


Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • Your item must be unused, unworn, unwashed, in its original packaging, and with all tags attached.
  • You’ll need to provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

How to Start a Return

To start the return process, please email us at info@hellomia.co.za. If your return is approved, we’ll send you the return instructions and shipping details.

Please note: Items sent back without prior return approval will not be accepted.

Damages or Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can evaluate and resolve the issue promptly.


Exceptions / Non-returnable Items

Some items are not eligible for return, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g. food, flowers, plants)
  • Personal care items (e.g. beauty or hygiene products)
  • Custom or personalized products
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

We do not accept returns on the following:

  • BIBS pacifiers and bottles (for hygiene and safety reasons)
  • Sale items
  • Nursing bras and underwear

Exchanges

The fastest way to get what you need is to return the original item (if eligible), and place a new order for the replacement.

Note: Customers are responsible for all courier fees associated with returns and exchanges.


Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll notify you about the status of your refund. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method. Please allow some time for your bank or payment provider to reflect the transaction.

Courier Fees:
If the return is not due to an error on our part or a defective item, you will be responsible for courier fees for collection and return.
